Help prepare your neighborhood for fall weather | Mukilteo Public Works

Proper leaf disposal is important. Avoid raking leaves into nearby streets, storm drains and waterways. In addition to clogging the drains and causing flooding, fall leaves are loaded with natural fertilizer that pollute and harm streams, rivers, ponds, and the important species that live there.

Fall is in the air and your City's Public Works Department is busy preparing to handle the deciduous leaves along city streets.

If left on the streets, these leaves risk clogging storm drains and can lead to local yard and street flooding. Below...
