Embedded social worker hire approved
City to investigate whether council candidate was asked about political affiliation

The City Council unanimously approved the use of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to contract with Compass Health to start an embedded social worker program during its Monday, Feb. 7, meeting.
The program’s $65,000 cost includes a part-time community transition staff member to work with primarily homeless members of the community to provide support and engagement to connect individuals with the most appropriate resources.
