Voice your opinion on the name for the next Mukilteo/Clinton ferry

The Suquamish is the fourth and latest Olympic Class ferry in the WSF fleet. She joined the Tokitae in 2018 for the Mukilteo/Clinton run. Mukilteo eventually will be getting the state's newest ferry – a 144-car, hybrid-electric Olympic Class vessel and the public is being asked to help choose its name.

The Washington State Transportation Commission, which will be naming the ferry, is soliciting the public's feedback on six proposed names.

The six names are:

• Wishkah

• Stillaguamish

• Snoqualmie

• Enie Marie

• Stehekin

• Muckleshoot

The list of names is posted on the commission's website (https://bit.ly/3BBRzAK), and the public can comment online through Nov. 30
