City offers more details on preliminary budget

More details on the 2022 preliminary budget were presented to the Mukilteo City Council during its Monday, Oct. 18, meeting.

The executive, police, public works, capital projects, and equipment replacement & facility renewal department budgets were reviewed by Finance Director Shawn Hunstock with the assistance of Police Chief Cheol Kang and Public Works Director Andrea Swisstack.

Some of the changes in the executive department included a $15,000 increase in labor attorney expenses for a total of $45,000. The City will be negotiating four labor contracts in 2022.
