The reality of today includes reading daily news about conflicts and violence in other nations as well as our own. Recently, we’ve seen the tension between Israel and Palestine, Yemen facing the world’s worst humanitarian disaster in terms of poverty, and starvation, and political unrest in Cuba.
One of the most impactful defensive tactics that the U.S. can use is providing foreign aid to countries in need. The fact of the matter is that if we reallocate the federal budget, our country alone can make huge strides in ending global poverty around the world.
