Kamiak returns to the stage with 'Oklahoma'

The show will go on.

The coronavirus pandemic took a heavy toll on extracurricular activities, especially Kamiak High School's Theatre Arts Department.

Students were right in the middle of rehearsals for the musical "Urinetown" last March when the state went into lockdown and schools were shut down.

This year, Kamiak was determined to keep the performing arts alive, even under the state's strict COVID-19 safety guidelines.

The result is likely going to be a musical like none other, at least visually. Actors will be wearing masks and practicing social distancing on stage. Instead of a live o...
