High school students glad to be back in class

It was hard to tell who was more excited to be back at Kamiak High School – students or the teachers and staff welcoming them back.
Monday was the first day of in-person instruction for middle and high school students after more than a year of remote learning due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Kamiak welcomed about 750 students, while Mariner had about 500 on campus.
Rie Kim, a junior at Kamiak, ASB secretary-elect, and a student director for the Mukilteo School Board, was one of the students in a virtual school tour video.
