Rotary recognizes Students of the Month

The South Everett Mukilteo Rotary has named its Kamiak and Mariner Students of the Month for January and February.

Mariner January Student of the Month – Thien Nguyen: Holds a 4.09 weighted GPA and is involved in student government as ASB Secretary. Also, Key Club International as Division 21 Lieutenant Governor and Junior State of America as Social Director. A member of the Association of Washington Student Leaders, working with the Washington State Board of Education as a Student Researcher, Student Voice & Advisory Councilmember and Young Executives of Color.

Natalie Giovi

Mariner February Student of the Month – Ava Rudberg: Junior Class Spirit Leader, lettered in volleyball, wrestling and track. Voted Rookie of the Year in track her freshman year. Involved with Unified Basketball. Serves the homeless community and children in the nursery.

Kamiak January Student of the Month – Natalie Giovi: Holds a 3.94 GPA. Involved with Human Rights Club, Knight Crew Member, girls soccer (team manager 2020), National Honors Society, Ultimate Frisbee and Show Band (earned letter & section leader). Earned a Silver Award in Girl Scouts.


Insulated windows a clear advantage

Volunteers at a local food bank and with TeenTix Youth arts project.

Kamiak February Student of the Month – Emma Arceo: Holds a 3.84 GPA. Involved with cross country (captain), track and field. All-Wesco First Team 2018, All-State First Team 2019, Wesco cross country champion – 2019. Kamiak Athlete of the Week – (Nov), volunteers with Meals of Love and local homeless organizations.
