Virtual worship during a real pandemic | Worship

In pre-COVID-19 pandemic times right about now, with the Jewish High Holy Days approaching, I would be psyching myself up to spend a lot of time in worship services at Temple Beth Or.
In normal times, Rosh Hashanah, which starts at sunset Friday, Sept. 18, means for me two hours at the synagogue on the eve followed by nearly three hours the next day.
However, that pales in comparison to how much time I’d typically be at Temple Beth Or for Yom Kippur, which starts at sunset on Sept.27.
