District asking for input from public on fall plans | School Brief

Last updated 7/22/2020 at 12:05pm

The Mukilteo School District is seeking the public’s input on its plans for the fall.

The district is planning for in-school instruction for elementary students, and a hybrid instruction model of in-person and remote learning for middle and high school students.

As a direct result of family feedback and committee conversations, the district is also planning for a full remote option for families, who choose not to send their students to school for in-person instruction in September. The committee tasked with determining the full model for the fall will release its draft plan in the next few weeks.

This brief survey is anonymous and is designed to gauge family hopes and interests for learning models across the district. By the middle of August, when the district has a clearer understanding of family interests for the fall, it will send families separate instructions for those who wish to register for the full remote option.
