Many Mukilteans took a break from the state's stay-at-home orders to head out to Lighthouse Park to enjoy the sun and fresh air during the July 4 holiday weekend. With flags flying, dogs playing or sunning, kayakers kayaking, boaters boating, couples strolling while wearing masks, dads taking pictures of his kids, and even bunnies chillin', Old Town was abuzz with a flurry of activity. Lighthouse Park saw a large number of residents and visitors from out of town, many of whom were wearing masks and practicing appropriate social distancing. With most large gatherings, such as parades and firework shows prohibited, Lighthouse Park was the place to be in Mukilteo.
