The Mukilteo Police Department will host its first virtual “Coffee with a Cop” event from 10-11 a.m., Thursday, May 21.

The public can join in on the department’s Facebook page at Mukilteo Police Department.

Police Chief Cheol Kang, Assistant Police Chief Glen Koen, Community Services Sergeant Colt Davis, and Crime Prevention Officer Myron Travis will be on “Facebook Live” to engage with community members and answer questions in this virtual setting.

Residents can visit the department’s Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/mukilteopolicedepartment and post questions while having donuts and coffee in their homes. It is requested that residents email preliminary questions to [email protected] to ensure questions are answered during the livestream.

“Community engagement is one of the most important aspects of our responsibilities to the community we serve,” said Police Chief Cheol Kang. “This is one of many ways we continue to be innovative and creative to maintain our relationship with the community during this time.”
