Kamiak comes up just short against league leader | Softball

Kamiak showed it can play with any team in the league.
The Knights battled first place Glacier Peak tough before losing 7-5 in a Wesco 4A softball game Tuesday, April 16, at Glacier Peak High School.
“My girls hit really well today and they played strong defense,” Kamiak coach Ann Bradley said.
The Knights outhit the Grizzlies 8 to 6 but ended up leaving too many runners on base. Still scoring five runs against sophomore Makayla Miller, one of the top pitchers in the league, gave Kamiak (2-4 in the league, 7-5 overall) a big boost heading into a busy week.
