Drivers may experience additional congestion getting to the Mukilteo ferry terminal as of this Monday.
About six to eight trucks an hour will haul fill to the site of the new ferry terminal, which started Monday, April 22. The work hours are 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, the hours will be 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This work should be completed in three weeks. Flaggers will direct traffic during trucking hours.
Trucks will get to the site using SR525, drive into the toll plaza behind booth #3 and continue behind the current holding lanes. The trucks will exit using the same path.
