Mariner relying on senior standouts to lead the way | Baseball

It’s been a bit of whirlwind for first-year coach Reggie Corns and the Mariner baseball team.

With less than a month since practices started, Corns and the Marauders are still in the getting to know each other phase.

So far, both sides are upbeat about what is likely to be a challenging 2019 season.

“It’s been good,” said Corns, who is an assistant football and former baseball coach at Lynnwood High School. “The kids are great. They’re fully buying into the idea that they can expect better from themselves.”
