Feb. 20
Holy crap
The caller requested a phone call for an unknown situation. The Animal Control Officer (ACO) spoke with reporting party who said there is a great deal of "huge" dog poop at the location. The caller wanted signage put up or the city to pick up the dog poop. The ACO advised the caller to contact City Hall for sign questions and PW for removal questions. 4600 block of 88th Street Southwest.
Theft
The caller advised they have video of a theft. Case under investigation. 12300 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
Open and shut
While on patrol, an officer located an open door. Nobody was inside the and nothing else appeared suspicious. Upon departure, the officer shut the door. 4200 block of Russell Road.
Feb. 21
SOS
Officers were dispatched to a report from Sirius XM Satellite Radio of an "SOS" button being pushed from a vehicle. The officer made contact with the subscriber and confirmed there were no problems. 11700 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.
Cyberbullying
The caller reported some threatening Instagram posts regarding two juveniles. The officer will pass the information on to the Student Resource Officer.
Feb. 22
Drunk call
Dispatch advised that they received a cell phone 911 call with a male mumbling. Officers contacted the male who was intoxicated. There were no problems. 4400 block of 80th Street Southwest.
Maybe DUI
An officer was dispatched to an area check for a possible DUI. The vehicle was not located in the Mukilteo area and SCSO/WSP were advised of the call. 11700 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.
Feb. 23
Welfare check
An officer was dispatched to an area check for a disoriented male. The officer located the male and he was ultimately transported by aid to the hospital. 4500 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
Drunk karaoke
An officer responded to a report of loud music at the location. The officer contacted an intoxicated male who agreed to turn the music down and stop singing along to it so loudly. 4500 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
Feb. 24
Vroom vroom
The caller reported a vehicle revving its engine. The officer did not hear or locate any running vehicles. 4900 block of 88th Street Southwest.
Bad dogs?
The caller advised the neighbor's dogs were harassing him. They were referred to the Assistant Chief. Ongoing civil issue. 8900 block of 49th Avenue West.
Not relationship goals
The caller reported hearing a disturbance. Officers contacted a male and female who acknowledged they were going through relationship problems and that they had been arguing very loudly. They stated the argument had not become physical and there was no evidence of a crime. They agreed to stop arguing for the night. 4500 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
Feb. 25
Busted
While officers were investigating a different call, a male approached officers and asked to check and see if he had any warrants. Subject had a DUI warrant out of King County SO. Subject was taken into custody without incident and booked into jail. 10900 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.
Theft
The reporting party came to the PD to report the theft of a lock box. The case is under investigation. 5000 block of Harbour Pointe Boulevard.
Feb. 26
Free gun
The caller requested contact at the police department so they could turn in a weapon they no longer wanted. Officers booked the rifle into the Mukilteo Police Department property room.
Yikes
The caller advised their daughter was bitten by a German Sheppard that was loose in the area. Shortly after, another caller advised they too had been bitten by the German Sheppard. Officers located the German Sheppard and were able to secure it. The owner was notified to keep the German Shepard in quarantine until ACO can speak with them for further investigation. 5800 block of Chennault Beach Drive.
