Just over 10 years ago, then-presidential candidate and Sen. Barack Obama sat in a diner as a reporter questioned him on a litany of subjects, including Middle East peace. He answered with what must have been a rhetorical question, “Why can’t I just eat my waffle?”
As a fan of waffles, I was surprised to learn that there is a waffle that does not look like the traditional square kind or the round version.
This one has a square waffle pattern. It is called the bubble waffle, and you can now eat one in Edmonds at a new spot called Gravity Bar.
