Knights set school records at state championships | Track and field

 


Kamiak’s sprinters advanced to the finals in two events and set two school records at the 4A state track and field championships.

The 400-meter relay team of junior Savannah Congdon and seniors Noelle Young, Sarah Nehring and Kailin Wiley finished third in a school-record time of 48.89 seconds, .20 seconds faster than what the Knights ran in the preliminary heat.

It was a fitting way for the three seniors to close out their high school careers.
