Stellar pitching, offense lift Kamiak past Mariner | Softball


Cecilia Robbins’ arm and bat helped power Kamiak past district rival Mariner.

Robbins allowed one hit, struck out 13 batters and drove in four runs to lead the Knights to an 8-0 victory over the Marauders in a Wesco 4A softball game Monday, April 2, at Mariner High School.

The Kamiak senior hit a two-run double in the first inning and then repeated the feat in the fifth inning after Mariner intentionally walked freshman Jadynn Bushnell, who had homered in the third inning.
