Jan. 3


Having suffered a mechanical malfunction, a vehicle struck the curb in the 4900 block of 92nd St. Southwest, causing it to partially block westbound traffic lanes. An officer stood by until a tow truck arrived.


Computer equipment was reportedly stolen when someone forcibly entered a building in the 2600 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.

License found

A driver’s license was found in the 10500 block of 47th Place West. An officer booked it into evidence.

Hit and run

An unknown vehicle reportedly struck a female pedestrian in the 13100 block of 42nd Ave. West. The female was taken to the hospital. The case is under investigation.

Locked out

A female requested help after locking her keys in her vehicle in the 1200 block of 1st St.

Ferry delivery

Police contacted the driver of a large truck reportedly using “air” brakes. The driver said he was there to deliver gas to the ferry.

Open trunk

An officer noticed a vehicle in the 8900 block of 49th Ave. West with its trunk open. Nothing else about the vehicle was suspicious so the officer closed the trunk.

Jan. 4

Burglary assist

Mukilteo police assisted Edmonds police in containing a burglary scene in the 7800 block of 203rd St. One suspect was detained at the scene.


A vehicle rear-ended another vehicle that had stopped for traffic in the 11700 block of the Mukilteo Speedway.

Cell stop

An officer checking on a reportedly suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of 4th St. found the driver had pulled over to use his cell phone.

Jan. 5

Pulling out

A vehicle pulling out of a driveway at Beverly Park Road and 132nd St. Southwest struck another vehicle. No one was injured.

Stolen mail

A case of mail reportedly stolen in the 4700 block of 81st Place Southwest is under investigation.

Hit and run

An officer located a vehicle that reportedly fled after striking another vehicle at Chennault Beach Road and the Mukilteo Speedway. The case is under investigation.

Pipe burst

An officer stood by as firefighters shut off water coming from a burst pipe in the 10800 block of 53rd Place West.

Recovered vehicle

An officer on patrol found a stolen vehicle from Everett in the 1100 block of West Mukilteo Blvd. The owner responded and retrieved the vehicle.

Structure fire

Police closed the roadway while firefighters worked to extinguish a structure fire in the 13100 block of Beverly Park Road.
