Networking Group

10:30-11:30 a.m. Want to meet new business owners in Mukilteo? Join the Chamber of Commerce’s weekly Wednesday morning networking group at the Chamber Office. Be prepared to give a 30 second introduction to your business. Bring at least 30 business cards. Attendance is free. Chamber Office, 4902 76th St. SW., Mukilteo.

Teen Quiet Time

3-5 p.m. A safe, quiet environment for middle school and high school students. Take some time to relax, unwind and support each other every Wednesday after school. Take a nap, write or draw in a journal, make a collage, color, eat a healthy snack or read a book. For teens in grades 6-12. Mukilteo Library, 4675 Harbour Pointe Blvd., Mukilteo. Therapy Dogs

3:30-4:30 p.m. Read with Risa and Carmen who love to listen to young readers at the Mukilteo Library. Read with one of these sweet therapy dogs for 15 minutes and receive a "pawtograph" souvenir. Come for Coffee

1-3 p.m. Meet other seniors when you Come for Coffee in the Rosehill Room at Mukilteo’s community center. Mukilteo Senior Association hosts this free event on the first Thursday of every month in the Rosehill Room. Coffee, tea and store-bought sweets will be provided. STARS Growing Healthy Children

10 a.m. to noon. Is that for real? Discover and share tips for integrating nonfiction picture books into any preschooler’s day. Tap into their curiosity to foster an interest in books. Community Service

10:30-11:30 a.m. Middle school students (grades 6-8) can earn community service credit by helping out at the Mukilteo Library. Help prepare crafts for library programs and displays, pick up and clean up, sort books and more. No need to sign up. Worldwide Candle Lighting

6:30 p.m. Pointe of Grace will hold a candlelight service on Worldwide Candle Lighting Day in conjunction with Compassionate Friends to honor and remember children who have died. All are welcome. Rockin’ Rollercoasters

Noon to 1 p.m. Attend a Soroptimist International of Everett lunch meeting to join efforts to make the world a better place for women and girls.
