Kiwanis kicks off 14th year with Cocoon House

January 20, 2016

The Mukilteo Kiwanis Club kicked of its 14th year of serving local youth at Cocoon House on Jan. 10. The service club celebrated its partnership with the Snohomish County nonprofit by having chefs cook the kids a pasta dinner.

The dinner included tortellini alfredo, penne with pesto, a green salad, garlic toast and soda pop. For dessert, the club served a Seahawks" ice cream cake.

Cocoon House works with at-risk and homeless youth and their families all over the county.
