Nonprofit working to help kids get good grades

For 50 years, Jan Link’s mantra has been: “Learning should not stop when the last school bell rings.”

Link, of Mukilteo, is the founder of a nonprofit organization with the goal of providing struggling students with the “outside the school day” academic support they need to succeed.

She is a retired school teacher, principal and curriculum director who worked for five school districts in two states throughout her career.
