Protective signs destroyed in Japanese Gulch | Letter

“La-la, la-la-la. I can’t hear you!”

Children sometimes shout this and place their hands over their ears.

The better not to hear you. Sometimes they cover up their eyes, so as not to see.

Recently, the city of Mukilteo placed dozens of large Native Growth Protection Area signs in sensitive areas of the newly purchased Japanese Gulch lands. The idea was to inform visitors that areas of the gulch are wetlands and wetland buffers.
