Taytem White: 2007-2024

Posted

Taytem White was born in Kalispell, Montana, on Jan. 5, 2007. She passed away on Jan. 5, 2024, at the age of 17. She is survived by both of her parents, her older sister Alexis Solomon, as well as her four younger siblings. Taytem is now reunited with her grandfather Michael Winne and his father Richard Winne.
A funeral was held at Bayview Cemetery in Bellingham on Friday, Feb. 2. Her family and friends spoke of her creativity, authenticity, and kindness. Her sister, Alexis, shared memories of the games she would play as a child and the deep love she felt for her family. Others spoke of her innate ability to look on the positive side of life, even when things got tough.
Taytem’s life was more than a hard life lesson. It was a life filled with contagious laughter and rebellious acts of genuine kindness. Taytem had a love that was truly unconditional and authentic to those she was passionate about – once she loved you, Taytem loved you forever, endlessly, and unconditionally.
Taytem had many dreams in life. She would speak of becoming a mortician, nurse, or tattoo artist, and traveling to Oregon. She was the master of silly faces and could always be spotted easily in an audience during her sisters’ performances. Taytem was just like any kid in the sense that she enjoyed prank calls at sleepovers and making slime of various textures, smells, and colors.
Taytem is living authentically ever after and is sending signs from the afterlife through the wind, snow, and animals.
