Graduates from across the Mukilteo School District celebrate the completion of their high school careers during commencement ceremonies and recognition events last week.

Nearly 550 Kamiak High School seniors graduated and earned more than $4 million in scholarships, while more than 450 Mariner High School graduates secured more than $1 million in scholarships.

Nineteen graduates from ACES Big Picture’s ALE programs received diplomas, with many pursuing college, apprenticeships, skilled trades, and careers in fields ranging from cosmetology and teaching to welding and graphic arts.

Eleven students also graduated from the Community Based Transition Center. In addition, Indigenous students from Kamiak and Mariner were honored during the district’s third annual Indigenous Student Graduation Ceremony, where graduates were wrapped in traditional warrior blankets and recognized for their achievements before joining their classmates at commencement.
