Long-time former Mukilteo resident, Kim VonFeldt, passed away June 25, 2025, following a short illness. Born in Denver, Colo., on Aug. 3, 1951, Kim grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and relocated to Washington in 1976. He was employed at Boeing-Everett for more than 35 years; first on the flightline followed by decades of service as a Quality Assurance Investigator, finally retiring in 2015.
Kim enjoyed fishing the Skykomish River and camping and hiking throughout the Cascade Mountains. He loved all things Pacific NW and especially enjoyed being outdoors. Living close to the Mukilteo beach was immensely enjoyable to him. Gatherings with friends at the Mukilteo Lighthouse Park were frequent and always memorable.
Kim was a devoted father to his only child, Heidi, and spent as much time with her as he could. They enjoyed surprise trips to Disneyland, ice cream cone beach walks, time with family in Mexico, and living in Mukilteo with friends nearby.
Kim was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Lee (Brown), father, Robert Lee VonFeldt, and stepmother, Anne. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Heidi Maureen, and his brother, Robert. At Kim’s request, no service will be held. Rather, we ask that you hug your family often and be thankful for the time spent together and all the memories you share.
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. The rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. ~ Irish Blessing
