Dolly Parton celebrates the statewide expansion of Washington's Imagination Library Initiative, which provides free books to children. Joining Parton (middle) were Gordon McHenry, CEO, United Way of King County; Maya Hemachandra, interim president & CEO, United Way of Snohomish County; Dona Syes Ponepinto, president and CEO, United Way of Pierce County; Omoyie Kinney, EVP, chief marketing officer, United Way Worldwide; and Jarrett Brunny, vice president, community impact, United Way of Pierce County.

It's an exciting time for families with young children across Washington, as Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is growing in every corner of the state. All children between birth and age 5 living in Snohomish County are eligible to get free books...
