May 12

Traffic

5300 blk. 88th St. SW. A driver called to advise that his trailer has become unhitched from his vehicle, and it was blocking the roadway. Police provided traffic control until the roadway was clear.

Suspicious

5300 blk. 88th St. SW. A resident said several people pounded on their door. Officers checked the area but did not locate the suspects.

Domestic violence

200 blk. 107th St. SW. A woman said she got into an argument with her boyfriend and that some property was destroyed.

Disturbance

500 blk. 84th St SW. Two people were involved in some sort of disturbance. Both people were advised to return to their apartments and to avoid each other in the future.

Threat

500 blk. 84th St. SW. An officer spoke to a caller about a phone scam.

Public assist

4400 blk. 85th Pl. SW. A caller needed help locating his dog. An officer found out on Facebook that the dog has been taken to PAWS after being found. The caller went and picked up his dog.

Suspicious

7900 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A business was concerned about a person's level of intoxication. The person was advised not to drive and given a courtesy transport to her residence.

DUI

900 blk. Front St. Mukilteo Police responded to a report of a possible DUI driver. Washington State Patrol was not able to respond at the time. Police contacted the man, who appeared intoxicated. His vehicle was turned off and he was off the roadway. Officers called the man's wife and she came over from Clinton to pick him up. The vehicle was left in the employee lot.

Car prowler

3900 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW. A guest called to report a car prowl. Police contacted a suspect and he attempted to flee after being told he was not free to leave. The suspect was caught. He admitted to prowling vehicles and was charged with several crimes. The man admitted to being homeless and was provided resources.

Fire, fire, no fire

7600 blk. 49th Ave. W. A resident said his neighbors were having a big bonfire and making a lot of noise in their backyard. Police found four people sitting around a decorative propane fire table chatting.

Knock, knock

9700 blk. 58th Pl. W. A homeowner said she was out of town and a man was at her door. The man turned out to be the woman's contractor.

May 8

Theft

9500 blk. 49th Ave. W. A resident reported that property was stolen from the trunk of her vehicle.

Sleepyhead

600 blk. Front St. Police contacted a man sleeping in his vehicle in Lighthouse Park. He said he was resting after working long hours. He was warned about park hours.

Suspicious

92nd St. SW./56th Ave. W. A caller said a vehicle looked like it has been involved in a hit-and-run collision.

Theft

12500 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. Officers were called to a store after employees apprehended a shoplifting suspect. The business declined to press charges but wanted police to check on the woman's welfare. The woman was not wearing shoes and appeared to be homeless. She declined the police's offer of resources.

Car prowl

11100 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. Police were called to investigate a parked vehicle that appeared to have been prowled. Police unsuccessfully tried to contact the owner and left voicemails.

Theft

800 blk. 5th St. Police obtained video of a theft.

Welfare check

5500 blk. 94th Pl. SW. Two callers reported seeing a man sleeping in their neighbor's front yard with his belongings tossed about. Officers contacted the man, who refused to identify himself. The man declined the officer's offer of resources. The man was warned about trespassing and left the area.

May 7

Walker

Mukilteo Speedway/Beverly Park Rd. Mukilteo Police, Washington State Patrol, and Snohomish County Sheriff's Office personnel checked the area for a person seen walking in traffic. The individual was not located.

Traffic

Harbour Reach Rd./South Rd. An officer assisted a driver who ran out of gas.

Animal

13200 blk. Harbour Heights Dr. Police responded to an ongoing issue with a barking dog. The owner was contacted and warned.

DUI

900 blk. Front St. An employee reported a possible DUI driver in the ferry lane. Police contacted the vehicle and after an investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI and other offenses.

Theft

12300 blk. Harbour Pointe Dr. A resident reported the theft of a wallet. A resident found the wallet and turned it into the police.

Parking

600 blk. Front St. Two vehicles were ticketed for parking in the boat launch parking area.

Arrest

12300 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. While on patrol, officers arrested a suspect in a theft investigation.

Traffic

Mukilteo Speedway/Clover Ln. A caller said someone was walking in the street between parked cars waiting for the ferry and passing vehicles. The individual was gone when police arrived.

Abandoned vehicle

92nd St. SW./Surrey Ln. A vehicle involved in a collision on Friday was marked to be towed. Police attempted unsuccessfully to contact the owner.

May 6

Domestic violence

5200 blk. 80th St. SW. A woman reported that her husband was intoxicated and belligerent. Officers determined an assault occurred and arrested the husband and booked him into jail.

Lost and then found

6000 blk. Championship Ct. A woman called about a lost dog. An officer was able to find the dog and return it to the owner.

Found

600 blk. Front St. A man said he left his jacket at the beach with his passport and other items. An officer located the items and returned them to the man.

Nuisance

600 blk. Front St. While at Lighthouse Park, an officer contacted multiple Ford Mustangs that were taking photos and revving their engines. They agreed to stop.

Noise

9600 blk. Harbour Pl. An employee said a loud radio could be heard from a room. The employee attempted to contact the people in the room without success. Police were able to contact the people, and they agreed to turn down the radio.

Suspicious

11700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A caller said a vehicle in the parking lot has its passenger door open. Officers contacted the owner, who said they left the vehicle in the parking lot and carpooled to work. The owner asked the officers to secure the vehicle for him.

Disturbance

12300 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. A caller reported hearing a woman screaming in the building. Police checked the area and spoke with several people, but no one heard anyone yelling.

May 5

Malicious mischief

8500 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A woman walked into a hotel lobby and when she came out one of her van windows was shattered. Nothing was missing.

Noise

8200 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A resident complained about people outside talking and drinking. An officer contacted the people, and they agreed to keep the volume down.

Public assist

600 blk. Front St. An officer was flagged down by a man, who has lost his wallet while waiting to walk onto the ferry. The officer gave the man a ferry pass because he did not have any money.

Traffic

92nd St. SW./53rd Ave. W. A resident requested extra patrols because of multiple vehicles running stop signs.

Theft

11700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A thief stole a purse from a customer's vehicle that was being gassed up. The victim told police her credit cards were being used in Lynnwood.

Collision

Mukilteo Speedway/Bernie Webber Dr. Officers helped push a vehicle involved in an accident off the roadway.

April 29

Illegal crabbing

700 blk. Front St. A caller reported illegal crabbing. The ranger spoke with four men who were crabbing off the fishing pier. They were advised to pull their crab pots and dump their crabs. The men collected their pots and left the pier.

Traffic

900 blk. Front St. A caller reported that people were cutting into the ferry line. Police observed the ferry line and did not witness any violators.

Traffic

Mukilteo Speedway/15th Pl. Multiple callers said an elderly man was walking in traffic. Officers contacted the man, who was just trying to walk home.

Noise

900 blk. 2nd St. A resident complained about a neighbor playing loud music. When police arrived, the music had been turned down.

Scam

4600 blk. 74th St. SW. A caller said he likely was scammed during the transaction involving a vehicle.

Traffic

600 blk. Front St. An officer attempted to contact six to eight motorcyclists; some drove away recklessly.

Noise

300 blk. Lincoln Ave. A neighbor near the Rosehill Community Center reported hearing loud music. An officer contacted a group who was leaving and playing music in the parking lot.

Malicious mischief

12300 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. A resident heard her car alarm go off. She came out to find her rear passenger side window smashed. Nothing was missing.

Suspicious

12800 blk. Beverly Park Rd. An officer contacted a man sleeping on the sidewalk amid a pile of trash. The man picked up the trash and moved along. He declined resources.

April 28

Traffic

900 blk. Front St. The ranger contacted the driver of a vehicle that jumped the ferry line.

Substance abuse

600 blk. Front St. A caller reported seeing people smoking marijuana in a vehicle. An officer contacted the vehicle and some passengers admitted to smoking. The driver was not under the influence.

Suspicious

1400 blk. Mukilteo Blvd. An officer contacted two people sleeping in their van. The two declined resources.

Towed

7800 blk. 49th Pl. W. Two abandoned vehicles were towed away.

Theft

900 blk. Loveland Ave. A resident reported a theft overnight.

Welfare check

Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW./Mukilteo Speedway. Officers checked on a homeless man. He declined resources.

Animal

11700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. Police checked on dogs in a car on a hot day. The vehicle was electric and the AC was on. The dogs appeared to be calm and not in distress.

April 27

Traffic

600 blk. Front St. A caller reported about 20 vehicles revving their engines at Lighthouse Park. He claimed they were going to speed up Mukilteo Speedway with loud exhausts. An officer arrived when the vehicles were leaving. They were not seen speeding.

Nuisance

7600 blk. 44th Ave. W. A resident reported a vehicle in the Community Gardens parking lot.

DUI

900 blk. Goat Trail Loop Rd. Police investigated a vehicle in the roadway and encountered a woman in her vehicle. She was determined to be under the influence and was booked into jail for DUI. It was her second offense in less than a year.

Malicious mischief

1800 blk. 19th Dr. A resident reported that someone broke the rear passenger window on their vehicle overnight. The vehicle did not appear to have been prowled.

Trespass

12800 blk. Beverly Park Rd. A caller said a man entered an abandoned house. Officers contacted the man and he was verbally trespassed from the location.

Suspicious

12900 blk. Beverly Park Rd. Officers investigated smoke from a small fire in some abandoned property. Police found coals from a fire and a small encampment. Officers contacted two people, who were subsequently arrested for warrants. One of the individuals had received two drug diversions and was in possession of drugs.

Locked out

4200 blk. 78th St. SW. Police arrested a caller who had locked their keys in a vehicle.

April 26

Barking

9600 blk. 50th Pl. W. A resident called about three barking dogs. Police contacted the owner, who agreed to bring them inside.

DUI

Mukilteo Speedway/Paine Field. Officers responded to a report of a possible DUI driver. An officer located the vehicle and imitated a traffic stop. The driver had an open container in the vehicle and was arrested for DUI.

Threat

8600 blk. 45th Pl. W. A resident received a threat via text.

Fraud

4700 blk. 82nd Pl. SW. A resident said someone opened an account in their name.

Malicious mischief

9600 blk. Harbour Pl. A resident's vehicle was prowled. No items were taken and the vehicle was not damaged.

DUI

132nd St. SW./Beverly Park Rd. A driver, under the influence of drugs, collided with a utility box. The driver was arrested.

April 25

Dog in traffic

Beverly Park Rd./132nd St. SW. An officer stopped to attend to a dog running in traffic. The officer wasn't able to corral the dog, but at least got it out of the road.

Suspicious

11700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. An officer found a car with the rear driver's door left ajar and nobody inside. The owner called police and said he accidentally left the door open. Nothing was taken from the vehicle.

Theft

111700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. Three men removed security tags from liquor bottles and left without paying. Video footage was sent to police.

Parking

12600 blk. Eagles Nest Dr. A resident said several vehicles were taking up parking in the neighborhood. An officer did not observe any violations.
