Mukilteo Police Chief Cheol Kang and Mayor Joe Marine welcome Elijah Thomsen, an Olympic View Middle School student, who was sworn in as Chief for a Day on Sept. 6. In addition to learning about police work, Thomsen rode in the City's Lighthouse parade float.
Elijah Thomsen strolled confidently into the Mukilteo City Council Chambers.
The incoming Olympic View Middle School sixth grade student was calm, cool, and collected. He was ready to assume the duties he worked toward.
