Since ballots dropped two weeks ago, it has been very busy. I apologize that responses are note immediate. My sent file records show I replied to Mr. Haugen on Monday, July 25th at 1:54 pm with the following: Hi Gavin, Thank you so much for reaching. I respect the fact that the people of Washington have spoken via referendum and that access to abortion has been codified in our law. My focus is on the issues that are effecting all us and bringing people together to find solutions for commonly shared concerns. I do believe in dignity for all life. This why it is important to find meaningful answers to the addiction and homelessness crisis our district and State are facing. After spending a significant amount of time cleaning up encampments and talking to non-profit and public leaders, I have a deep understanding on where we can make vast strides helping individuals and families heal from the trauma of addiction.
