Former Gene Nastri Community School of Music director Julie Buetow stands in front of Pointe of Grace Lutheran Church. The school was renting two classrooms from the church before being told by the City that it needed a conditional use permit to continue operations there.
The Gene Nastri Community School of Music has been a part of the south Snohomish Country arts scene for 38 years.
The school initially hosted a multi-arts summer camp at Forest Park in Everett in 1984, and then began operating year-round in 1993....
