Kamiak duo takes eighth in 4A doubles tournament | Boys tennis

Kamiak’s Aaron Lee and Josh Lee took seventh place in the 4A state boys doubles tennis tournament May 28 in Kennewick. The Lees won their first-round match 6-4, 6-1 over Kentridge’s Hieu Lee and Huy Le to advance to the quarterfinals where they lost to Wenatchee’s Ben Borden and Evan Mueller 6-4, 4-6, 6-4. The Lees then beat Newport’s David Tunduc and Kevin Nan 7-4, 7-6 (2) and then lost to Skyline’s Prithvi Rangaswani and Mark Schulitschenko 6-2, 7-5 to take seventh.

Wesco 4A rival Jackson claimed the team title with second- and fifth-place finishes in singles.
