City Council talks ARPA funding

The Mukilteo City Council reaffirmed its support for several projects it plans to fund through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
During Monday’s council meeting, City Administrator Steve Powers reviewed where the City stands with almost $6 million in federal assistance. The City Council has approved the spending of just over $2 million of ARPA funds.
Already funded projects include: embedded social worker, $325,000; body cameras and IT support, $656,000; utility assistance, $498,649; executive department – executive assistant, $274,045.
