Port of Everett CEO Lisa Lefeber discusses the Port's role in helping the City move forward with its waterfront redevelopment plans during the Mukilteo Chamber of Commerce's Speakers Series April 28 at Rosehill Community Center.
If all goes according to plan, visitors to the waterfront soon will be able to enjoy their fish and chips at a new park next to Ivar's.
Construction of the much-discussed and much-delayed park, previously referred to by the City of Mukilteo and Ivar's as a parklet, should begin shortly. The Port of Everett, which took over the project from Ivar's, said the goal is to be open to the public by Memorial Day.
