Jasmine Nguyen, one of the captains of the Mariner Tennis Team, is off to a solid start to the season. Recently beating Lake Stevens #2 singles 7-6, 6-7, 6-3. The match lasted

about 3 hours and shows her mental toughness and excellent work ethic. This work ethic is shown off the courts as well. She helps lead all weight training practices and ensures that the whole team is in attendance. She is a natural leader that supports both Varsity and JV practices in running drills as well as giving advice to her teammates when needed.
