Kamiak placed on temporary lockdown Thursday

No threat to school

The Mukilteo Police Department said that Kamiak High School was temporarily on lockdown on Thursday, March 17.

The following was posted on the department's Facebook account:

This morning our officers received a report that a Kamiak High School student brought a firearm to school.

The student was located by the School Resource Officer and school administration. Officers also responded to the school.

The student was forthcoming, and no firearm was located on him, or in any of his bags or belonging.
