Legislation to restrict the sale of high-capacity firearm magazines was approved by the Washington House of Representatives on a 55-42 vote Friday, March 4.
Senate Bill 5078, sponsored by Sen. Marko Liias (D-Everett), prohibits the manufacture, sale, import, or transfer of large-capacity magazines that hold more than 10 rounds of ammunition. It would go into effect July 1.

Thanks Marko (sarc). This feel good ban on magazines capable of holding 11+ rounds will do absolutely nothing to stop gun violence or any other kind of violence. So with your logic, a nut job shooting 10 bullets at innocent victims is less harmful than 15 or 30? Really? News flash--criminals don't follow the law by definition. You've just created a huge black market for these magazines which the law breakers will use to the fullest. Law abiding citizens will be the victims of stupid laws yet again. Registration is next....mark my words...
