Amici Bistro: Reflecting on 21 years in Mukilteo

Rose Saffioti says closing her restaurant was a difficult decision, but she is ready for next chapter of her life

Amici Bistro owner Rose Saffioti is ready for the next chapter of her life.

In her early 60s, Saffioti plans to return to nursing, a career she left about 12 years ago when she decided to focus her attention full-time on running the family's restaurant.

The decision to close Amici Bistro after 21 years wasn't easy.

"It's sad. Mukilteo has been so good to me over the years," Saffioti said. "Everybody has been so supportive."
