Kamiak students walk out, demand COVID rule changes

Feeling unsafe and unhappy that in-school classes are continuing as the latest COVID-19 variant speeds through their campus, Kamiak High School students staged a walkout Tuesday to demand changes.
A crowd of about 75-100 students gathered outside the main building where speakers listed their demands, including a more equitable testing policy and, especially, a shift back to distance learning.
