The Tsunami advisory for the Washington and Oregon coasts is canceled. No Tsunami danger presently exists for the area.<!-10p->

The National Tsunami Warning Center has issued a Tsunami Advisory for the Washington coastline. There is a potential that waves and strong currents may reach the Snohomish County coastline later this morning but that remains uncertain. Impacts may last several hours.<!-6p->
Tsunami warning sirens in Edmonds and Everett are unlikely to be activated today.<!-5p->
Our advice: Be safe. Avoid Puget Sound beaches, waterfront areas.
