The Tsunami advisory for the Washington and Oregon coasts is canceled. No Tsunami danger presently exists for the area.

The National Tsunami Warning Center has issued a Tsunami Advisory for the Washington coastline. There is a potential that waves and strong currents may reach the Snohomish County coastline later this morning but that remains uncertain. Impacts may last several hours.
Tsunami warning sirens in Edmonds and Everett are unlikely to be activated today.
Our advice: Be safe. Avoid Puget Sound beaches, waterfront areas.
