The Mukilteo City Council is moving back to remote/online meetings, effective immediately.

City Council President Steve Schmalz said that during a meeting this week with Mayor Joe Marine and Vice President Elisabeth Crawford, all three decided it would be in the best interests of all to shift back to remote meetings due to the spread of the highly contagious Omicron variant.

The next council meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., Monday, Jan. 10.
