Mukilteo Police are continuing to investigate the death of a 27-year-old Mukilteo man found in the backyard of a residence where he was living.

An autopsy by the Snohomish County Medical Examiner's office found a broken knife blade inside of the body. But that doesn't necessarily mean foul play was involved. Mukilteo acting Assistant Chief Andy Illyn said much of the investigation points toward self-harm, but the department is still working on the case.
