City Council agrees on the 2022 budget

No raise in property taxes, but new police officer to be added

Close, but no cigar.

After nearly five hours of debate, the Mukilteo City Council agreed on all the important details of the 2022 budget.

But with Monday’s meeting approaching midnight, and several councilmembers not wanting the budget process to be rushed and also expressing the desire to fully review the numerous late changes before approval, the council postponed a vote until Monday, Nov. 22.
