Kamiak boys run away with league title | Cross country

The Kamiak boys cross country team edged Lake Stevens by one point to win the Wesco 4A cross country championships Saturday, Oct. 23, at Arlington Airport. Senior Jackson Hammons won the individual title, finishing in 16 minutes, 3.1 seconds. Teammate Jaedyn Chase was fourth and Mason Hammons took eighth. In the girls race, Emma Areco won in 18:54.5. Teammate Bella Hasan was fifth. The Knights took second behind Lake Stevens.
