Editor's note: This is the first of a two-part series on three school districts in the coronavirus age: Edmonds, Mukilteo, and Everett.
The 2021-22 school year was thought to bring a return to normality – or at least a version of it – to local school districts.
Certainly more normal than 2019-20, when the coronavirus pandemic upended traditional schooling for everyone – students, teachers, administrators, support staff, and certainly for parents and guardians.
