Second-half surge powers Knights to rout over T-birds | Football

Kamiak's first-half performance was far from flawless.

The Knights' offense turned the ball over four times – one interception and three fumbles, one of which was returned for a touchdown.

But Kamiak still went into halftime ahead 21-6.

The Knights refocused at halftime and came out firing, scoring four unanswered TDs to pound Shorewood 48-6 in a Wesco football game Friday, Sept. 10, at Goddard Stadium.

"It feels good to be 2-0," Kamiak coach Bryant Thomas said. "The second half we looked like the team we are."
