Late touchdown lifts Mariner past Cascade

Quarterback Damien Bagley threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Rutledge with 28 seconds left in the fourth quarter to lift Mariner to a stunning 28-21 victory over Cascade in a Wesco football game Friday, Sept. 10, at Everett Memorial Stadium.
Bagley was thrust into an even more prominent role in the offense when starting running back Cartez Williams went down with an injury early in the first quarter. Bagley carried the ball 24 times for 138 yards and completed eight of 16 passes for 99 yards and three touchdowns.
