Editor's note: The following is a letter by a Whidbey Island resident that was sent to Washington State Ferries and state legislators about issues related to the Mukilteo Ferry Terminal.

Since the opening of the new Mukilteo Ferry Terminal, there have been a number of issues for vehicular passengers.

I agree with all the concerns Also city of Mukilteo is missing out on money without any place for a waiting passenger to get a cup of coffee, snack or for kids to get ice cream....Lots of missed opportunity to take in some tax revenue and stimulate the local economy.
