Suspicious

Harbour Pointe Blvd./Harbour Heights Pkwy. A woman claimed she was being followed home by a vehicle. Police did not locate the vehicle.

Public assist

900 blk. Front St. The Coast Guard asked police to contact a vessel that had apparently lost power and drifted on to the beach. The vessel occupants confirmed they had lost power and were stuck at the beach.

July 27

Theft

5000 blk. 81st Pl. SW. A resident reported the theft of three bicycles.

Theft

9000 blk. Hargreave Pl. A resident was scammed into giving $1,000 through gift cards on the phone.

Locked out

1100 blk. Villa Monte Dr. One resident changed the locks after asking a roommate to move out.

Suspicious

Chennault Beach Rd./Mukilteo Speedway. While on patrol, an officer observed a man walking across all lanes of the speedway, hindering traffic. The officer warned the man about the violation and he left on foot.

Theft

3900 blk. Pacific Pl. A caller reported two women were removing plants from an area along Harbour Reach Dr. An officer subsequently pulled over the two women in a vehicle and they admitted to pulling plants from the location. They said they used the plants for food preparation. Police said a report of the incident would be sent to the prosecutor's office.

Animal

53rd Ave. W./88th St. SW. A resident reported seeing a dog running loose in the area. The animal was not located.

July 28

Noise

4800 blk. 73rd Pl. SW. A resident reported hearing loud music and talking. An officer located people being loud and they agreed to keep the noise down.

Woman in trouble

600 blk. Front St. Police were called to the dock at Lighthouse Park for a woman in distress. When they arrived, they observed her jump off the dock into the water. The woman began to have a medical emergency in the water, and she returned to the dock where officers assisted her out of the water. The woman had what appeared to be a seizure and was transported to the hospital. Medics reported that the woman fled from the ambulance when it arrived at the emergency room.

Vehicle theft

9600 blk. Harbour Pl. A vehicle was stolen after the driver left the keys in the vehicle. While police were on the scene, it was reported that the stolen vehicle was involved in a hit and run accident.

Suspicious

5600 blk. 108th Pl. SW. A resident reported a suspicious vehicle in front of their house. Officers stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and the driver said he knew the person in the house from high school and was considering contacting him.

Domestic violence

600 blk. Front St. A caller reported seeing a man slapping and hitting his wife over the past few hours. En route to the location, police stopped a vehicle driving away from the park that was registered to the involved parties. The couple denied the altercation was physical and neither had any visible injuries. All parties provided written statements.

500 blk. 81st Pl. SW. A resident reported his mailbox had been prowled.

Lost in the parking lot

11700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A woman reported her vehicle was stolen from a parking lot but with the police's assistance, the vehicle was located several spots away.

July 29

Theft

11700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. An employee reported a theft. Officers arrived and contacted a suspect. They recovered stolen items from the suspect's bag.

Noise

11100 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. A resident said a father was yelling at his children. He agreed to keep it down after police contacted him.

Welfare check

900 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A caller reported seeing a man laying next to the road. Police contacted the man, who declined assistance and walked away.

Malicious mischief

5300 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. A caller reported graffiti on a shed.

Noise

11800 blk. 59th Ave. W. A resident complained about loud music. When police investigated, they said the music had stopped.

10500 blk. 47th Pl. W. Police answered questions about the disposal of syringes.

5000 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. Windows were broken on the backside of a building. Extra patrols were requested.

Fireworks

1800 blk. 19th Dr. Multiple residents reported hearing shots or the sounds of fireworks.

10000 blk. Multiple vehicle prowls were reported.

10200 blk. 48th Ave. W. Two vehicles were prowled and a backpack was stolen from one of them.

10100 blk. 48th Ave. W. An unlocked vehicle was prowled.

Beverly Park Rd./132nd St. SW. A motorcyclist went around a corner and fell down. The motorcyclist appeared to have suffered a broken leg.

8400 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A customer paid a bill with counterfeit currency.

Welfare check

600 blk. Front St. A BNSF police officer reported two people passed out in a vehicle in Lighthouse Park near the train tracks. Police informed the people the park was closed.

Shots heard

1300 blk. Mukilteo Blvd. Police did not locate anything suspicious when investigating a report that a resident heard shots were fired.

Traffic

800 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A resident reported hearing three or four vehicles speeding on the Mukilteo Speedway.

12100 blk. Concord Way. A resident said there were dirt bikes speeding around in the area.

Suspicious

300 blk. Lincoln Ave. Someone was reportedly driving golf balls at the Rosehill Community Center.

Aug. 1

Disturbance

Third St./Mukilteo Speedway. Multiple callers said a man was attempting to deal with traffic issues by walking into traffic and yelling at multiple cars as they were driving up the Mukilteo Speedway. The man obstructed traffic and many vehicle had to swerve to avoid hitting him. One of the drivers confronted the suspect and the man alleged pulled out a knife, threatened him, and then chased him across the street. Eight witnesses came forward and identified the man, who was cited for disorderly conduct.

2300 blk. Washington Ave. A resident left a van door unlocked and later discovered someone stole a $4.000 bicycle and some tools.

Property lost/found

900 blk. 3rd St. A resident found a drone on her third story deck. It appeared to have struck a window and fell to the ground dislodging the battery. The homeowner was concerned the operator was using the drone to look into her windows.

600 blk. Washington Ct. SW. A resident said someone entered an unlocked vehicle and stole change, tools and a space key to the vehicle.

Aug. 2

Fire

3900 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW. Some cigarette butts caused bark to start smoldering. The fire department responded and made the area safe.

Fire(works)

11300 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A dumpster was full engulfed in flames after someone apparently lit fireworks in the dumpster. Another garbage can also apparently had fireworks thrown in it.

Special operations

3900 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW. Officers obtained information that a suspect with a felony escape warrant was on the property. Officers and special operations located and arrested the suspect without incident.

12100 blk. Village Center Pl. A resident reported their car window was smashed and a laptop computer was stolen.

11100 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. A backpack was stolen from a truck.

10600 blk. 47th Pl. W. A woman said someone stole her purse, cellphone and car keys out of an unlocked locker, while she was doing her makeup after a workout. Police reviewed security footage but did not see anyone leaving with the items. Police suspect they likely used a different bag or backpack.

Distracted driver

84tn St. SW./Mukilteo Speedway. A driver allegedly looking at an electronic device rear-ended an unoccupied school bus.

1000 blk. 18th St. A caller reported seeing a suspicious man at the location. Police contacted him and he was determined to be conducting business.

121 blk. Cyrus Way. A caller wanted to know how to have someone trespassed from his business property.

Theft

2500 blk. Mukilteo Speedway/12600 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. Police responded to two reports of thefts of property.

Traffic

Beverly Park Rd./Mukilteo Speedway. An officer attempted to stop a vehicle for failure to transfer title, but the violator failed to stop and fled southbound on to Highway 99. Police did not pursue the vehicle because it did not fit the criteria for a pursuit.

5500 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd./500 blk. Clover Ln. Two callers reported the thefts of property.

Abandoned vehicle

4299 blk. Russell Rd. Police determined that a vehicle was on private property and the caller would need to have the vehicle towed if they wanted it removed.

Behavioral issue

9400 blk. 48th Ave. W. A person having a behavioral health crisis was transported to the hospital.

700 blk. 2nd St. A power line broke and fell onto the roadway.

Malicious mischief

11100 blk. 47th Ave. W. A resident filed a malicious mischief complaint.

11700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A theft complaint was lodged.

2100 blk. Clover Ct. A resident reported the theft of an empty locked gun safe, cellphone, and other items from a vehicle.

Fraud

5000 blk. 84th St. SW. A resident said she received an odd packet in the mail from a local business. She indicated she will be following up with the business.

Malicious mischief

4500 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. A caller reported damage to property.

Collision

48th Ave. SW./Harbour Pointe Blvd. An officer located a disabled vehicle on the sideline. The vehicle appeared to have taken the corner too fast in the rain and slide off the road, causing damage to the vehicle and tires. The vehicle was impounded at the driver's request.

92nd St. SW./45th Pl. W. While on patrol, police observed a vehicle making several traffic violations. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle but it failed to yield and left the area.

10700 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. An assault was reported.

5300 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. Police responded to a report of property damage.

Traffic/arrest

12300 blk. Beverly Park Rd. While on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. Upon further investigation, the officer arrested the driver after establishing probable cause for another crime committed in Mukilteo.

12300 blk. Evergreen Dr./5800 blk. Central Dr. Police are investigating two burglaries.

5300 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. Police responded to a noise complaint but did not hear any loud noises.

Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW./Harbour Reach Dr. Police cleared a branch out of the roadway.

9600 blk. Harbour Pl. Officers assisted residents in corralling a loose dog, who was returned to its owner.

133400 blk. 45th Ct. Police helped reunite a lost child with his parents.

Burglary 13800 blk. Highway 99. Officers assisted Snohomish County Sheriff Officers on a burglary. Police arrested the suspect after a lengthy K-9 track.

11100 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. A caller reported the theft of property.

10800 blk. Harbour Pointe Rd. A burglary was reported.

11100 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. An officer handed out backpacks and school supplies to children.

1800 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. An officer responded to a barking dog complaint. Police heard the dog barking but were not able to contact the owners.

9100 blk. 49th Ave. W. Police are investigating a domestic violence incident.

Assault

700 blk. Front St. A man was arrested and booked into jail following an assault.

Noise

4500 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. A resident said someone was being too loud. Police drove through the apartment complex and did not hear anyone being loud.

Aug. 15

Theft

9400 blk. 48th Ave. W. A resident said his vehicle was broken into and that he has video of the break-in. A pair of sunglasses was stolen.

Noise

4400 blk. 76th St. SW. A resident said a dog had been barking for two hours. The caller then canceled the request after the dog stopped barking.

DUI

4300 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. While on patrol, an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver showed signs of intoxication, and there was an open bottle of alcohol on the passenger floorboard. The driver then was arrested for DUI

Shots fire

8800 blk. 45th Pl. W. A resident said she heard a gunshot. Another resident described the sound as not a gunshot but more of a large explosion. Police checked the area, and no problems were detected.

Theft

5000 blk. 94th St. SW. A wallet containing credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The caller has the incident on video.

Fireworks

1000 blk. 10th St. Two residents called about shots or fireworks in the area. A resident claimed that someone in a truck had been shooting off fireworks. The owner of the truck was contacted and warned.

10700 blk. 64th Pl. W. A theft was reported.

11100 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. A caller's work truck was broken into and three toolboxes with tools were stolen. Another caller said numerous power tools were stolen from her vehicle.

Property lost/found

4500 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. An employee of an apartment complex found carpet cleaning equipment by the door to the leasing office.

Welfare check

11500 blk. Mukilteo Speedway. A caller requested a welfare check on a man lying on the sidewalk next to a shopping cart. The known man declined any aid from police.

Theft

4600 blk. Pointes Dr. A caller reported his work truck was broken into and tools were stolen.

Domestic violence

5000 blk. 84th St. SW. Police received a voicemail from the victim of a previous domestic violence case. She said her boyfriend was continuing to show up at a relative's residence, where the woman was staying. Police called the woman several times but she immediately hung up. Police were concerned the boyfriend was at the residence and the woman was not able to speak freely. Upon arrival, police talked with the woman, who said her boyfriend was hiding in a bedroom. Officers arrested him.

Traffic

900 blk. 4th St. A caller reported seeing two vehicles speeding and racing in the area.

Nuisance

4300 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. SW. Police stood by with public works and provided security while several homeless camps and associated garbage were cleaned out. There were several duffle bags and backpacks packed full of rocks the same size used to break windows at City Hall and other buildings.

4400 blk. 106th St. SW. A caller reported the theft of his bicycle.

Man in a dress

800 blk. 4th ST. A caller said a man wearing a blue dress was wandering through yards in the area. Police contacted the individual, who would not pull his mask down to reveal his face and who talked in a high pitched voice. He refused to provide ID and made up several female names that returned with no record. He appeared to be suffering from a possible behavior health issue. He was released when officers could not establish probable cause for any crimes.

Abandoned vehicles

5100 blk. 99th St. SW. A resident said two vehicles had been parked on the street for two years. An officer marked the tires and left warnings on both vehicles.

Suspicious

3rd St./Park Ave. A caller saw a woman taking political signs and throwing them into the ravine. Police checked the area but did not locate the suspect.

Public assist

12100 blk. Cyrus Way. A woman said her son was not talking to her and she did not know what to do. The mother agreed to give her son some space.

Domestic violence

11100 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. Officers responded to a disturbance with sounds of people screaming, crying, and yelling for help. A man was arrested for an assault.

Traffic

Mukilteo Speedway/84th St. SW. A caller reported a homeless man was stepping in and out of the street. Police said the known man was fighting an imaginary person. He refused assistance.

Burglary

12300 blk. Harbour Pointe Blvd. A woman said her garage has been rummaged through and a bicycle, tools, and oil were missing.

Theft

11100 blk. Chennault Beach Rd. Three bicycles were reported stolen.

4400 blk. Russell Rd./12200 blk. Cyrus Way. Two people reported the theft of catalytic converters.

Domestic violence

9100 blk. 49th Ave. W. A man texted his girlfriend in violation of a no contact order. The man was arrested and booked into jail.
